My Goodbye

My dog, my brother and my best friend. Life is unfair, and in this case it is cruel. You lived a wonderful life, and touched the hearts of many, but it was cut short and came up far too fast. It’s the hardest thing to lose a family member, but it’s even harder to not be by your side to say these final words. Although I’m thankful that my last memory of you is a healthy one and that you didn’t suffer long, I wish I could have been there to say goodbye. So this is my goodbye to you, and wherever you are just know that I will always love you and you’ll always have a piece of my heart. You’ll never be forgotten and you’ll forever be missed.
